IOMTT - where to watch

Post by uktom77 »

As a slightly younger member of the club (although been a member for about 8 years now) I'm off to the IOMTT for my first time on Monday and I'm looking for suggestions, recommendations, tips, tricks or just stories (flood gates open ....), especially where to watch from. Staying at the Glenlough campsite (mile marker 4 -ish).

Currently on the 3rd revision of my packing as I appear to not be getting the 'pack light' mantra.

I liked Creg Ny Baa. You can see the bikes coming around Kate's Cottage, It's a bend away from you so you get a good view of the bikes, and you see them ride down to Brandish. There's a back road to it, and food and drink, and toilets. Some places are good but you're stuck and have no facilites. Bradden Bridge is good too. We camped at Union Mills Football Club, which is ok but don't expect any sleep! What bike are you going on?
Dave.
