Who does everyone recommend in the Nottingham area to repair and mechanical issues.

You may need to go out of your area. There are 3 in Jampot ads section. I believe John Bolton your nearest nr. Kettering.

If I'm correct from your posts you live in Sutton in Ashfield. Therefore, if you're looking for the nearest, I believe your nearest advertiser in our magazine is Neil at Kickstart Classic Motorcycles in Frieston ( approx 35 miles from you) . If Rob is correct and John Bolton , Workshop 14, is in Kettering, that is double the distance. They are both club members so know our bikes well. If you have a problem and think it's beyond you, even with the help and encouragement of people here, I suggest you give either or both of them a call and have a chat.
