Any member looking for cycle thread dies, that is 26 t p I check out Hitchcocks web site the enfield dealers, they sell em singly or a set.

Got my taps & dies from car boot sales, singles / tinfulls. Good enough for what I have needed to do. If you see anything engineering on a car boot stall, its worth a good look in boxes and tins. Which have turned up, measuring devises, 4 sided double ended thread chasers, thread size check sets, similar tools like feeler gauges that also check various radius sizes, reamers and so on. Usually 10p upwards. Just junk out of Gran dads shed to the sellers.

That's how I found most of my taps & dies Rob, plus some from when I was in the fabrication / fitting trade, I put the post up for general

Tracy tools in Devon sell them in high speed or carbon steel at a reasonable cost
