the correct answer was speedo needle from Smiths Chronometric speedo 1960 on (although some recent forum debate if from 1959 on)

Trying to add up, 24 wrong 6 right, so only 30 had a go, I think I'll give my brian a rest , by next week I'd had forgooten all about the quiz, and go out in the shed.
