If you fill the oil to just below the bottom of the Kickstart shaft level, and put a rubber O ring on the kickstart shaft between the gearbox seal and the kickstart itself and the wiping wll be considerably reduced.

Wipey wipey wipe......👋💦👋💦👋
That's it, together with taking my own large piece of cardboard to place under the bike when parked up.

[quote="Stuoyb"]Probably because it has to go as small package/parcel rate not as a letter.[/quote

To be eligible for mailing at the price for letters, a piece must be: Rectangular. At least 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick. No more than 6-1/8 inches high x 11-1/2 inches long x 1/4 inch thick.

So for the price of a stamp about 10 seals could be posted.!!!

Hi. The Royal Mail letter size guide doesn't mention any minimum size and states the following:-

Format Examples Max weight Max length Max width Max thickness

Letter

Greetings cards, personal letters, postcards, bills 100g 24cm 16.5cm 5mm

Not too far from the sizes you mention but definitely a bit adrift - over an inch on the length.

As a postie I can say that I'm not aware of any restrictions to the shape of the item. We get all sorts of daft shapes including stars, triangles and circular letters that roll out of the sorting frame!

Cheers. Bruce.

Are you sure you didn't copy from the US postal Service website? The clue is in the use of inches not millimetres.

there are lots of other sources but they all want more than double the postage for the price of the seal.

Pay peanuts and you get monkeys 🐒🐒🐒

The seals ordered from the Orient bore no resemblance to the ones I received.... No surprise there !
Club Spares seal was very good quality.....👍👍👍
