💦 KICKSTART SEAL
Am sure this topic has been discussed fully already but am wondering if a leaking seal
On a Burman Box can be replaced from the outside without dismantling the gearbox cover â“
or does it have to be pressed out â“
or even God forbid....... Be left alone as is and wiped up occasionally Due to the level to the
plug on the left being just above the lower level of the seal â“
Current wisdom 🤔on this after will be greatly received and am now baking 🪠biscuits to hand out
Regards
Karol

Re: 💦 KICKSTART SEAL
Can be replaced from the outside ( from inside on AMC boxes). But. if the kick start shaft steel bush is badly worn the seal might not last very long. Good idea to wrap some insulating tape around the shaft splines to protect the seal lip when fitting.

Re: 💦 KICKSTART SEAL
seem to have found the 💦 seals here also:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcingmap-18 ... m+oil+seal
there are lots of other sources but they all want more than double the postage for the price of the seal.

Probably because it has to go as small package/parcel rate not as a letter.
