Another vote for Tony, just had my G80 mag done by him, £160, one week turn round and starting 1st kick hot or cold.

Tony has a great reputation. And deservedly so. He still has the original Lucas testing equipment. His lead times are anything up to 4 weeks normally. He has customers all around the globe. You will get your own mag back and it will be like new. He's also started manufacturing advance/retard units from scratch with a choice of material for the gear.

Re: Advice on where to get magneto reconditioned
I have had 5 mags and three dynamos recon'd over the years by T E Salmon, Essex and all have behaved faultlessly, reasonable turn round and look like new. The last one ( which was the original ) came back with a new Lucas plate riveted on with the original ser. No. and the correct date of 1958. fully recon'd about £150.
Top.
As was said earlier.
I also have had all my AJS Mags rebuilt here and Dynamoe`s to .ALL WORKED FAULTLESSLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't have a N1C in stock so the answer would be no. You'd be better off sending it directly to Paul at APL magnetos, google it and his details will come up.
