I've become a bit snobbish , well maybe inverted snobbish about ' very original bikes' that have been fully restored. So the front section of the frame and the left hand crankcase are original, but for me very original would include the rims, bars, levers.. seat...And I've really gone off super shiny over restored bikes, so I'd wonder just how original this one is? I won't deny it doesn't look good and I'd be pleased to own it, but i guess in my eyes the factory built it to be used off road and i wonder if it will ever get muddy again??
kk
Top tip - if it needs more than 2 bolts to hold it on, its probably important...
