I still get a dribble from the breather pipe and leaks from the cogbox that I haven't dealt with yet. But I'm making progress.

Well its been a few days. I loosened the oil feed to the valve gear with the motor running and oil came out. Done a few miles on her and parked overnight..................and no leak. This morning I took off the tappet cover just to be doubly sure and its all nice and oily in there.
