old jampot magazines

Post by g80csp11 »

Just a big thanks to whoever has cluttered up e-bay with single editions of old Jampots for £0.99 each + £1.2 postage
its hard enough to find parts without wading through such clutter
Although I must admit I have every copy since 1980 , do you think the market will take competition at say £0.98 + £1.19 postage and packing ?

Magazines do not appear often. So I do not feel they are a problem. Placing of a tyre of the same size for each year model, do appear often. If trade and private adds could be separated that would help de clutter many pages. It is really dealer ads. that clutter. Years ago you never had so many dealers using e bay.

Hi

I'm not an eBay user but can't you search excluding the word 'magazine' or 'Jampot'?

No, in fact that would take you straight to them! I had trouble giving mine away but I find they make good compost.

If you search magazine you will get 1,000's of various magazines , add jampot and then get loads of pots of jam also. You can of cause search anything you are looking for. The more words you use the more items this throws up. Of you just want to have a look to see what spares are on offer, this will also bring up anything with any word you are searching. You can limit a search to a category, like motoring, books, collectables etc etc. to limit the search a little.

of course you are right , yes you can exclude then from search
just an observation that something that you normally cant give away suddenly gets its value boosted on ebay

Same could be said for most of the used engine parts that are worn out enough for replacement but then get palmed off on a novice
some of it really should be recycled rather than refitted

Not if you do not know what may be cluttering ebay, to exclude.
