Not for the Alternative you can't. I think you're getting confused with next year's Jampot.
Access to the field for campers is from noon on Friday.

I am planning to go early-ish but making a detour so Mr Google says it's 204 miles from Coventry. I am sure the G11'ised G9 will make it with the trailer, hope the rider lasts out. Might be putting the tent up in the dark though.
I see all the web site stuff has been taken down. Can someone remind me of the eating arrangements and if there are showers available.

See you there Ian E

No Shirley was coming but a visit to family has taken priority. It's so much easier to get everything in the trailer, better tent, double sleeping bag, extra blanket etc etc. Restricted to 60mph but who wants to go faster?

Very good run today and well organised, the turnout seems to be 70 plus with many Old faces and some new, also some well known Atternative rally faces missing, you have missed a good rally. Just off back to the tent to get changed for dinner and drinks.

I'm not there because
(1) I'm trying to write a piece for the Jampot about next year's IJR.
(2) I'm trying to sort out what I want to say at the next Committee meeting.
(3) I'm trying to sort out what Glyn and I will be doing for a week's holiday this month.
(4) I'm trying to make sure my bike is working properly :headbang: to go to Belgium on Thursday's ferry.

Anyway, I've only ever managed to get to the last two Alternatives because my qualifying bike is normally broken. No change there, then.

Hope there's room in the tent for your nose.
