Happy new year! Sorry to be imprecise when I said valve clearances, in my mind 'cos you ajust the valve clearance on the push rod it's not a tappet(me, pedantic, never!). Anyway, apologies and Seldal, if you have compression then the valves cannot be bad, so like Clive says, "if it ain't broke don't fix it".......Ride it!
