Can some one tell me what colour red I need for my 1961 matchless csr please

Cardinal Red I believe would have been the original colour.

Hard to give a definitive answer....have you got original tinware like toolbox lid as the inside of that would be your best guide and a decent paint shop could match it up..

Top tip - if it needs more than 2 bolts to hold it on, its probably important...

Rover Damask Red is a reasonable match to the original

The very first Red used was left over paint from prewar for Aldwich post Office contract. Post Office red. Amazon Red matches, it was stocked by Roadstar motor cycles Dover, a few years ago.
