Tracing old registration numbers

Post by thornebt »

I've got an old photo of my uncle's Excelsior and am sure there is a way to check if the bike still exists. I tried the DVLA website but it says you have to have a good reason to get the information. The registration number is NYX 479. Can someone post a link or whatever I need please?

Cheers. Bruce.

The place to check is shown in the Where are they now? section on our very own website!

I've had a look but it seems the reg'n number is no longer on the DVLA database. It could be because that reg'n number was not on or not transferred when the database was computerised, or the vehicle has been permanently exported, or scrapped. Most likely scrapped unfortunately.
