BTW Matchbart, the Suzuki bloop was only introduced in 1966, so not likely to be an 'AMC' bike as they folded in '66

Fanny Barnetts. Great little bikes. I had one in 1968. I didn't want it but it was all I could afford as family transport having just got married. I commuted about 10 miles each way to work on it. Went down the M1 from Leighton Buzzard to London once a week for a training course. At weekends my wife, our baby son and myself would all make the journey down to Surbiton to see my mother on it. The baby was wrapped in my wife's coat, out of sight from prying policemen, and sat between the two of us.
I can't remember it ever going wrong. I eventually swapped it for a leaky, temperamental Royal Enfield Crusader.
