'RARE 1948 GENUINE AJS COMPETITION TRIALS BIKE' on Ebay

Post by Dreverl1 »

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the following bike on Ebay is worth a look?

'RARE 1948 GENUINE AJS COMPETITION TRIALS BIKE'

Or maybe this one is a better bet?

'Matchless G80 C'??

Cheers
Andrew

If you are thinking of buying, you could check its numbers with the club dating officer. Cheaper if you are a club member. But you would know if you are buying gen or fake, or a bit of both.

That Matchless is a cracker. Very original too. Even the tank lining looks correct. He's put the casting number as the frame number, but that's a common mistake you see often. I know which one I'd go for!
Cheers Dave.
