I know nothing about the model, but aren't the seat and mudguard wrong? The tank looks good.

Mis-matched cases for a 63 as well, the 63 CSR's went out with dynamo timing cases and the hole for it glued and plugged with an alloy plug, certainly all the genuine ones I've seen for 63 have anyway. I suspect the factory were using up all old bit's and bobs for the CSR's and that's why they still retained the full width hubs etc even though the tourers already had the Norton wheels and brakes. The fuel tank would have been the knee knocker type along with the knee knocker badges. Wrong carb velocity stack, it would have been the long type that fits into the cover panel not short of it. Crankcase throat bolts been swapped for studs. Rear foot brake adjuster earlier large type. Carb held on by studs and not bolts which it should be for the year.

It's a nice looking bike but spoilt by some real stupid mistakes and not worth anywhere near the asking price.

Hi

It's a shame full member Mr Cooper doesn't post on the forum, he could have avoided these errors, (if he'd wanted to).

It's still a lovely looking bike and I'd happily own it but wouldn't pay that price to own it, not with the silly faults it has.

Interesting comment about 63 CSR front wheel Rob. I was told my bike has the wrong front wheel and should have a later type. I know its got the correct back wheel. You may recall at Jampot rally in North Weald. I was trying to get it out to mend a puncture, thinking it was QD.
