Re: Info for T Seal for tin chaincase
This is what I use . same type is used to stick the tin chain case and sump on most modern engines
just clean off the 2 faces , run a bead on one surface and assemble
fills all the gaps and hey presto no leaks .
when you need to remove open the joint with a Stanley blade

Good step forward ... I do not ask any more questions. I did not want to put any more oil on the floor of my garage. I will empty everything because I do not roll anymore.

Rudelan buy a few second hand carpet squares then the oil will be on them rather than the garage floor.rudelan wrote:Good step forward ... I do not ask any more questions. I did not want to put any more oil on the floor of my garage. I will empty everything because I do not roll anymore.

No let it get oily, once it is oily, you don't notice it getting any more oil on it. Same with other things. If your bike is rusty and scratched. If it got scratched again you would not notice the damage, so no worries. With a shinny bike, one scratch and you cant sleep at night until you re paint the damage.

I let the oil drip from my bike direct to the floor. I have a hunch that, that the concrete garage floor underneath my bikes will never go rusty
