Is the club exhibiting at the Classic Bike Show this weekend (Feb 23-24) in Shepton Mallet ?

No As it clashes with the committee meeting and there was no one free to bring the kit down.

You may recall the club did attend on the original date intended, only to get thereabout the same time as it was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

Thank you, I saw no official notice from the club about not going there, only a note saying about committee meeting on Sunday. I think the meeting is more important then more expense going to the show again

The chairman and I spent four hours getting there, on arrival to be told that they had decided at 12.00 to postpone for three weeks.
However other exhibitors were informed at 8.00 am of this postponement, others by text from Carole Nash eirlier than this.
I expect that there will be a number of empty stands!

I always enjoy the show but the amount of jumble seems to be getting less and less. The club displays were as good as usual but I was surprised that there were quite a few companies absent who are usually there. For example, Footman James, Peter James and Bonhams.
It seemed as busy as ever, no doubt helped by the wonderful weather.
