Carb Banjo

Post by Martin.S »

I'm looking for a banjo for my 389 Monobloc that points the fuel line downwards. There seems to be quite a few G5's fitted with them when looking on the net.
Any ideas of a part number or the whereabouts of one?
Cheers

Have you looked up the Amal website? It's pretty comprehensive. Or try FD Classics at Dunmow, they're helpful.

Non banjos pointing down listed, for 376 or 389. Only my 1966 250 CSR has banjo pointing down

I contacted Surrey Cycles and was told that Amal don't make them.
When I got my ass into gear and made up an order from them they had a used one that was damaged that I could have. So as long as I can straighten it out then all is good but it's funny that a part number can't be found

Maybe the design was not good and too many were breaking, so is why Amal no longer make them.

I searched the Burton Bike part numbers and found a picture of a banjo as described - a 376/127.
