Not sure who may have posted this, I wonder if the person was suggesting we should change the club name. That would cost a lot of money. Everything AJS & MOC Ltd would have to change and the old be made redundant. Then start a new company. With no money, property, parts, members......

Changing a company's name isn't the onerous or expensive task Rob says it is. Yes, anything with the old name on it will need to chà nge but for some things, a temporary sticker or stamp will do until it's time to make replacements. Once the process to agree the change within the company has been completed, it cost a few pounds to have it registered at Companies House without any need to close one down and start another. Not that I'm suggesting the club does it.

What about A of A's changes will need to be made to those. Usually there solicitors to pay for doing that, even though there may only be name changes. Banks etc etc. The www will carry the old links. Throw away years it has taken to get established and known. The last time the club changed its name it almost folded.
