Thanks Roy. You can tell i have time on my hands. Acting as roadie for Hilary and two friends walking the Camino (well a bit of it). Been forced to sit in a cool bar with cold beer to avoid today's heat!

Day 2 at the show and it feels like a lifetime. We've had plenty of interest in the bikes and quite a few joining forms have gone out. However the raffle ticket sales have been slow, to the point that even our Chairman lost his voice trying to prise out a £1 off people's pocket.

However the back up team from Sussex arrived early so we made a start for home.
Hopefully they will have more success in prising a £1 from people's pockets!

Clive he was fine after a couple of pork pies and a Scotch egg, washed down with the finest spring water. Today the raffles sales was good, the footfall seemed down on the previous years we've attended and to me the show felt smaller. The cost of bikes however weren't going in the same direction. A range topping BMW RT is now £24k !!! Makes your eyes water just thinking about it. I simply could not justify spending that on a bike to watch it bleed value the minute I wheeled out the shop. I know that's always been the case but in today's market the drop is staggering and very rapid.
