New big end, both mainshafts and a full set of SKF roller and ball main bearings. I've managed (eventually) to get it true to within 1.5 thou, which Radco, in his Vintage Motorcyclist's Workshop, reckons should be OK. It means that I'll finally be able to begin the engine rebuild tomorrow. I got the cosmetics all done over the summer and left the engine as a 'winter treat'. On the plus side, I have saved on gym fees by repeatedly lifting well over 28lb of crankshaft in and out of the jig in order to massage it into shape with a lead-filled hammer

Still a long way to go yet though. I'll hopefully have it rumbling through the Yorkshire Wolds this year. Serves me right for buying a complete, or rather incomplete, basket case I suppose.
