I need a 1/4 bsf cage nut for the chain guard. just spent about 40 mins making something which doesn't work, so gave up and surfing the net trying to find one.
anyone got any ideas please.

I use these guys - a 6mm will 'adjust' to a 26 TPI BSC and I've made my own nuts for correctness in 5/16". You could of course use M6 if you're not a rivet counter

BTW - Isn't a G12 chain guard fixing 1/4" x 26 TPI BSC?
