Just a thought, maybe the Kent boys could advise on this....
I've been looking at the Jampot rally in Kent this year , I,m thinking maybe make it worthwhile as I,m hiring a van.
travel up on the Thursday overnight go direct to Calais via Dover get a few boxes of wine (last time my car load lasted a year and was a lot cheaper) and get to the Jampot on the Friday...
Not done a booze cruise for many years not even sure if it's worthwhile.
Interested to know you guys thoughts on this...as your a long way from sunny Somerset...we don't get let out very often..

Re: Jampot Rally 2020
Booze cruising doesnt seem to pay like it did. diesel is now a similar price, cigarettes need to be got from belgium, and wine in general isnt much cheaper than we can get over here unless you want the bottom shelf 'vinegar' type. And its not cheap to get a car across anymore
Still a nice day out if you can be bothered
