Re: RIDING over 80 +
Good luck to your friend. Hope he gets a result.
I once had a friend that bought himself an Alfa Romeo sports car as a gift to himself on his 90th birthday.
I was flying with Dudley when he was well into his eighties. With tandem seating, a few time we got a bit mixed up over who had control. This led to a few interesting moments. Good fun.
PS, I'm a crap pilot. Very boring and bloody expensive.

Rex, This may be a daft thought, but what would his situation be if he were to be insured as a named rider on somebody else's policy?rex.webb wrote:A friend has been motorcycling all his life till 4 years ago.

Not for long, just long enough to give him a bit of a recent track record.
Before you say it. I can't help here. only a single rider is allowed on a multi bike policy.

I'm 84, not been insured on a bike for 60 years but do have car insurance .. last October I bought the 56 AJS 350 .. no problem insuring with Footman James .. £170 .. reduced when I joined the Owners' Club
