My Peter James renewal premium has just been estimated at £164, an increase of £45 over last year, (two bikes), - admittedly I want to add a third bike, but it does seem a bit of a hike
I am adding the third bike at renewal as advised by PJ so as not to incurr the £20 adjustment fee.
In March just gone I added my 2016 250cc Chinese 'Mutchless' to my G3LS policy (which was £97 p.a.) with PJ and which was due for renewal in August.
For the 6 months March to August the additional premium for the Mutchless was £85 which included a £20 adjustment fee.
On that basis I reckon the annual renewal cost for my two bikes will be about the same as you've been quoted, i.e. c£160 for your three bikes.

I insure all my bikes on one policy with RH Specialist Insurance (see back pages of "Jampot"). When I renewed in December last year, the cost was £152.91 for four bikes. I added a fifth bike in January this year. The additional cost was £15.42 which included an administration fee.
£164 for three bikes fully comp. Seems about right to me. How much would the claim be for should , heaven forbid, all three bikes were whisked away in the middle of the night. I strongly suggest going for agreed value. There is nothing worse than arguing with an insurance company over the value of a stolen /wrecked bike.
I was just trying to get a 'gut feeling' of current prices. I am in discussion with PJ over how I add a bike concurrent with renewal but all is going well

They each have a value stated on the policy schedule... £10,000 for the G80CS, £8,000 for the Bonneville and £6,000 each for the Tiger 90, M18S and the G3/LS but I'm not sure that's the same as an agreed value... although they obviously agreed to those figures, or they wouldn't have put them on the schedule.
I am being robbed then! Carol Nash charge me over £400 , but I do have 6 bikes, one a vincent. Agree value is a double edged sword, my Vincent was agreed at £20,000, but that was years ago, might be better to argue for market value? The insurance companies will wriggle endlessly, ask Sprid!
