I am not answering your question Ruddy, but here is a word of warning. Be very careful tightening flow & return oil pipes into the crank case. The crank case will crack. Many crank cases are found cracked where the top pipe fitting has been over tightened. This fitting seems to be slightly tapered, so if over tightened the crank case cracks. One of my 55 G3/LS cases leaked oil. I took it apart thinking the olive and seating was damaged. I made sure that was good and clean, then refitted the pipe. As I tightened it I notice a crack open up in the crank case. Knowing they do crack was the first thing I looked for when I was getting the oil leak. I did manage to repair the crack, which has now been good since 1986. First I gave the crack a good clean with detergent. I then forced Araldite into the crack. I the removed the pipe fitting so the crack closed up. I then left it for a few days to go really hard.
