It's marked G32-C52-F620 and within 4 corner brackets 937. it has a two piece thrust rod (what size should the midway bearing be?) Both bearings midway and thrust plate are 3/16. It's a 4 plate clutch which appears to be in a 5 plate basket, would it matter to fit an extra pair of plates? it's a 4 springs clutch. Thank you.
May Be its not G32 and its GB C52? Photo is best
Not very clear but it is GB2 C52, once I rubbed all the crud off.

That number relates to a GB (aka B52) gearbox for a 1952 Matchless G9

I thought GB boxes were the heavy duty version of the CP and were used by Panther, etc.

Though it bears a passing resemblance to the B52. Perhaps I'm confused about the GB/CP relationship.

Anyway, have a read here:- https://www.draganfly.co.uk/burman-gearboxs/history

Don't know about 'heavy duty', Chazzy, but I'm sure you know that the GB (aka B52) is different internally and visually from the CP.

Yus, I'm confused.

I *can* tell a CP and B52 apart, even if I can't the clutches [DAMHIK]. I can also tell a 350 single from a 500 by looking. Some can't.

The BA was the 'heavier' version of the CP.
