I remember some of the boys having these spinning turbo visors in the 60s, they never really caught on. Idea must have come from the Kent clear view screen on ships bridges, don't know if they are still around, superseded by wipers I think.

Back in the day, (1969) I was given one of these Turbo Visors. Despite my misgivings about it being deeply uncool I did try it out.

Not sure if it gave you a clear view as the torque generated almost ripped my head off at anything over 20mph.
