Christmas Preparations

Post by Iron Head »

Well I've just spent most of the day cleaning the oven, which is good because I can't have my G80CS crankcases going into anything greasy prior to crank/bearing fitting. Just now have to turf some of the wife's Christmas frozen stuff out of the freezer to make room for the crank!!🤣

Don't forget your oven gloves. Safety first!

Got my leather gauntlets but the missus does want new oven gloves for Christmas so I might also use her old ones. Liked your suggestion Spookey!

Ralph, good link to the Watercress line Christmas Train of Lights. I will be on duty on the railway this Friday. Andy

Well would he kindly tell me how to stop it, 'cos I'm getting fed up with being perpetually "Fogged-Up" when out shopping :o (and I've been trying very hard to not go shopping for 50 years!)

Alan, we all who wear glasses have the same problem, I noted there is an anti mist cloth available at £6.00 from Boots etc, I am going to try the Rain X if I can find the bottle that I bought about25 years ago! If I finfpd it I will post the report.

Must be psychological but I find my hearing is affected when I wear a mask. I try several times to hear, say, a shop assistant and then pull the mask off and I can hear. Thought at first it was because I couldn't believe the price they were asking, but it's the same when buying priced items. It's the simple mask with loops going over the ears.
