Just received the stainless steel centre trim for my 1960 AJS 250 lightweight petrol tank and was hoping someone would be able to tell me how it should be fitted. It doesn't have one fitted so haven't got anything to go by.

From memory front end hooks on the tank the back end has a tab that goes through a fitting point, pulled tight and bent to hold.
