In the 60's I was apprenticed at a R/R, Bentley and Jag main dealer where V8's and triple SU's were the norm but I draw the line at so many pieces for a motorbike.

Over the years I've spent maybe a couple of hundred disbelieving hours looking over Resto Ray's shoulder and am still none the wiser.

I recall failing to get going to leave work on the BMW, one cylinder not firing despite sparking, no fuel apparently in that cylinder. Removed the spark plug, taped it to the head and rode home on the one cylinder. I really do prefer singles.
