This variant uses the same lazy susan bearing. The advantage is you can use it with bikes with only side stands. Being a carpenter by trade I reckon I can alter the timber specs so I will report back on this.

Hi

I just can't see this as anything but a 'solution' looking for a problem. If you have the space to rotate a bike you have plenty of room to back it in / out.

The wooden platform is already bending under the weight of the bike, it won't be long before both ends are on the ground, then you'll have the added hinderence of manoeuvring the bike over / around gash bits of wood on the floor :roll: :roll:

Not in lockdown but currently on sick leave and confined indoors for three week with a nasty virus, not covid.

With reference to Mick's post, ex F1 car titanium skid plates could be fitted under each end. Then experiment to see how fast you have to spin it to create those lovely white sparks. :shock:

(Confinement seems to be having an effect on brain cell function. Sorry) ;)
