I'm watching the live NASA transmission (landing at 2055hrs GMT) and the Lander's suspension in the wheels reminded me of the Triumph sprung hub.

History repeating itself then. Turner ‘borrowed' the design from an aircraft.

Ah the Dowty sprung hub! Used on Gladiators and Lysanders, both of which were marvellous aeroplanes although it's fair to say the Lysander's appearance was along the lines of Marmite.
