conversion of 350 to410
Hi Carl,I'm not sure if you are a member, but if you are, refer back to the Technical Topics section of club journal "Jampot" for February 1999 for full details of this conversion.
As far as I can make out you need a 75mm piston, which could be utilised from an AJS 7R 1948-1955.The 7R is 74mm so you'd need one 40thou over.
By utilising a Sceptre piston you can get 400cc,however you need barrel and pushrod modifications. From what I read ,Andy from AB Engineering can give you the full run down on this conversion (01252615279).
Good Luck
and Regards,
Adrian

You can use a Norton Model 50 piston. Standard this gives about 385cc but you can go out probably to +60 beyhond that. Gudgeon pin diameter and compression height are correct for post '48 long stroke.
