Pillion Footrest Pegs

Post by DavidHulse »

Could anyone please advise whether the "021641 REAR PILLION FOOTREST SPINDLE 1955 TO 63", available on the club spares scheme, is suitable for a 1958 G11CS (or other CS/CSR models) with the frame tube mounted round lugs (not the triangular plates found on touring models). Thanks.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Dave; and thanks for the link to the parts list, which is enormously helpful. I only wish I'd found it six months ago when I first started this project! Cheers. :)

Time to forage around the archives to see what else you are missing, its a mine of information. Just to egg you on here is my G11CS built up from an ebay purchase in bits about 8 years ago.

Off white with a little oil stain for authenticity. I believe but cannot be sure it was original fitment. The fine powder from the foam suggests its not new.
