Struggling to understand why, when I bought a wiring loom for my 63 G80 the lucas 88sa ignition switch bought separately had the wrong internal connections.
The new switch had no's. 14 and 15 connected, but the original wiring diagram shows 14 and 19 had to be connected.
Couldn't get a spark until I soldered an external wire between 14 and 19 and removed 14 and 15 link.
Looks as though all 88sa switches have internal connections different from original diagram..
Is there a reason for this??.
Don’t understand why

Re: Don’t understand why
Hi
14 and 15 internally linked is the 'normal' configuration - where do you see 14 / 19? the 63 AJS manual in the archive links 14 / 15
Is the 63 G80 another AMC one year only configuration?
Regards Mick
