I lost a battery several weeks ago. No harm done but to prevent it happening again i drilled a small hole in the bottom of the plastic dummy box and also through the battery tray and simply secured the two together with a nut and bolt. I wrap my battery in carpet underlay to absorb vibration and prevent the bolt fretting away at the bottom of the battery
