Hi Chris
Set the throttle stop screw so as the engine ticks over smoothly then adjust the air screw in or out for fastest tick over, then adjust the tick over down on the throttle stop screw - repeat as necessary until you get the tick over speed you require, if the engine falters before you get to your desired tick over speed you may be expecting too much.

Cheers Mick. I ultrasounded the carb and gave it a little tune. Will give it another go tomorrow.

Done it Mick! You are ten men! The weird thing is that the air screw is only out just over half a turn. Who cares, if it works!

One and a half turns out is the recommended point, slight adjustment either side is sometimes needed!
