Hi, Can anyone give me the dimensions of the rear wheel bearing spacer to suit a 49 - 54 swing arm wheel.
I have several of the shorter spacers (for the alloy hub) but need the details of the longer spacer (Pt. No. 014706).
This spacer is recessed at both ends and sits between the two bearings.
If I have the dimensions I can get one made or am willing to trade one of my short ones for a longer one.
Regards............David (Sydney NSW)

Hi David, have measured spacer up as follows, excuse mix of fractions and decimals,
Overall length: 2 9/16 in
O/D: 1 1/4 in
I/D: 0.855 in
Recess both ends: depth one end 0.128 in, other end 0.145 in - no signs of wear or damage so tolerances bit
wide!
Recess I/D: 1.1 in
Recess is to locate spacer between inner bearing races, it is quite a loose fit so tolerances not critical. Suggest you use an average to depth the recess.
Hope this helps, Andy

Thanks again Andy, This information is invaluable.
When the bike is in bits and pieces it's amazing how easy it is to loose one key component and, with Murphy's law, the part is not listed with the spares scheme / Nor AMC classic / Nor Russells / Nor anywhere local. So with your dimensions I will have one machined up.
