Here we go again. I'm thinking about a future project. I've turned a modern AJS into a flatty now I'm wanting to build a look a likey old thing with a cylindrical fuel tank. Modern fire extinguishers are made from aluminium which I suppose I could use but would mean specialist welding. Is steel too heavy? Any thoughts or recommendations on what I could possibly use for this purpose?
Either that or a decent psychiatrist!

Like your thinking Rob. The steel fire extinguishers have a wall of 1.3mm - 1.6mm. Might well do.
