Hi I am restoring a 66 g12 norton fork model
When the bike is on the stand the black dust covers are 1 inch away from the top of the chrome seal holders and therefore you can see the stanchions
I have 25†stanchions and the enamel dust covers are 6 and 1/4 long
Where am I going wrong or should you see this gap when the bike is on the stand ?
Many thanks

Re: Matchless with Norton forks problem
Not sure if this will help but my 64 AJS 350 with Norton forks the black dust covers are over eight inches long, there should never be a gap as far as I know. Short road holder forks on my 99 are 6" and on the 88 are 5 1/4" long.
