regulator

Post by chris goldson »

Good evening

Just looking for advice about a replacement regulator for my model 30. Can't see one in the club spares so would I be better trying to find an original type or solid state replacement/electronic type.

Any advice/help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club and the forums Chris.
You'll get all the help you need on these forums (plus a bit of ribbing ;) )
For future ref it would be a good idea to put the details of your bike and an approx location on your Profile.

I'd definitely replace with a solid state unit and it can be fitted inside the original regulator box.

If you haven't already found it there's an excellent website with masses of techy manuals and other interesting info on this website which is well worth a browse:

That's great - many thanks for the help.

Which regulator would you go for and how do I add to my profile please?

Best wishes

Log on.
Click on the gear wheel icon, above right in the 2nd bar down (to the left of the spyglass).
Click on 'Profile'
Enter details.
Click on 'Submit'

It's often handy to be able to see the details of your approx location for local section or suppliers etc. and bike (techy stuff) when replying to questions.
