You've started it now! Trouble is if you ask 20 different members, you'll get 20 different answers. OK in my twins my own preference is 20/50 (usually Halfords classic) in the engine with full flow filter in the return line. Gearbox, straight SAE50. Front forks Silkolene 20 fork oil. Swinging arm, SAE140. Hubs etc Castrol LM grease. Rear chain wipe over with gear oil or with my Model 20 self lubricating! I shall now duck for cover and await WW3.

I use Engine 20/50 morris but original spec was sae 50 and going to the thinner oil when cold means wet sumping is quicker. Gearbox sae 50. Dont bother putting oil in the chaincase because its topped up by tge wet sumping. Castrol grease bearings. Heavy fork oil i think that is sae 20. Rear chain oil by mist from the oiltank breather tank breather.

Hi

I take my pick from the recommendations in the Owner's Manual - page 8 in your case

http://archives.jampot.dk/book/Owners_m ... Manual.pdf

But then I'm a bit of a rebel

Don't be tempted to pump too much grease into the front hub as excess can contaminate the brake shoes. A better way is to remove the wheel
and dust shield and smear the ( high melting point )grease into the bearings with your fingers.

As my bikes burn so much oil I use any 20/50 i can get cheap my idea of an oil change is drain all the dip trays and put it back in a different bike ;)
