1938 Silver Streak Cylinder.

Post by ianw1 »

I've just been on an American website that sold a Silver Streak. Looking at the pics of the cylinder, there appears to be a broken fin on the top of the cylinder.
I have this exact same "broken" fin on my cylinder, question is, is mine broken the same as the American one or did they leave the factory like this?
The "break" is very even with rounded edges. I was about to get a quote on a repair, any help much appreciated.

It's a cutaway for a twinport exhaust.
