Front wheel RHS - Missing spacer?

Post by Cakeboy »

Just re-fitting my front wheel and looks to me like I'm either missing a spacer, or the adjusting ring is not screwed in enough. Can anyone help please?

Hi

I think you need to confirm the bearings etc. are assembled correctly in the hub, I've just checked my G3 and the adjuster is only proud of the lock ring by about 1/16".

There's no spacer between the fork slider and adjuster.

I didn't touch the bearings, but replaced just about everything else - so I'll take apart and have look. Thanks

Looks like the bearing had moved a bit so needed a tap t'other way and the adjuster screws in a bit further now. I'll keep a close eye on it after a few miles.

Cheers.
