Re: cleaning engine
Hi
I use Gunk and an air powered water syphon gun to remove the debris, if it's particularly mucky I use wooden coffee stirrers to loosen the muck.
Regards Mick

Re: cleaning engine
I've used Gunk ever since the 50's, same as Mike I first remove the build up of muck with a wooden scraper.
I apply the gunk with an 1" / 2" paint brush. I then scrub it with a round bristle brush that has wire round the bristles to stiffen the bristles at the end.
I just use an old washing up liquid bottle and squirt water to clean of the mucky gunk. Any hard bits of muck still clinging on get a scrape, gunk brushed and rinsed off with water.
Gunk never hurt the old original black paint years ago, but now if it gets on some paint it may make it cloudy grey, which won't polish off.
