ajs rear brake pedal position 33 csr 1965 help

help wanted in the restoration of an a.j.s. 33csr 750 cc 1965 .
how and where was the back brake peddle fitted?.am i right in thinking it screws into the sidecar fixing hole,if so dpes it screw in from the front or back also was a return spring fitted and how?.
i would appreciate any information, photos, or scetches. to help get this lovely old bike back on the road.
