The thread is 3/8 X 26, whilst the hexagon head is 1 BA. Try www.uni-thread.com for helicoils, look for BSC threads. Never dealt with them myself, found them whilst surfing the net. Don't forget you will have to buy a tap, cost would appear to be around £8-£9.
